• Schengen visa or residence permit

• Provisional residence certificate (Fiktionsbescheinigung) or the pink residence card

• Birth certificate(s) – may be required depending on the registry office

• Recent proof of address including marital status, with apostille or legalization – must be issued within the last 4 months
